Athlone IT ‘s Bioscience Research Institute wishes to purchase a complete lab system facilitating Automated Tissue Dissociation, Cell Sorting and Flow-Cytometry integrated workflow in a single, integrated system. A detailed description of the requirements/specifications of each individual element of the system is provided below. Tissue Dissociation: Fully automated, programmable device for consistent reproducible closed-system dissociation of tissues into single-cell suspensions. Cell Sorting: Fully automated system for isolation of cells of interest based on magnetic cell sorting processes. Flow-Cytometry: This system ideally needs to be equipped with three lasers (405, 488, 638 nm), forward and side scatter channels and eight fluorescent channels, for rapid, fully automated multi-colour flow cytometry.
