Masterplan - Shannon Region - The provision of a project management-led team to develop & prepare a tourism Masterplan for the Shannon Region.

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified economic operators for the provision of a project management-led team to develop & prepare a tourism Masterplan for the Shannon Region (the “Masterplan”). The Masterplan should identify the best prospects for sustainably growing tourism and should provide a blueprint to guide and direct future development. The Masterplan when implemented should realise a destination which is vibrant, attractive, optimised and positioned to fulfil its tourism potential. This Masterplan will be led by a Project Steering Group comprised of Waterways Ireland and Fáilte Ireland under a strategic partnership between the two agencies. This Masterplan will form part of the new Tourism proposition “Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands”. The contract term is estimated as being for an initial 9-month period and it is intended to commence late August 2018.
