1808 Tankerstown NS Mechanical - Mechanical Services Upgrade Summer Works Project

The project involves the upgrade of the mechanical services to an existing four classroom national school with a floor area of circa 550m2. The scope of works include the following:- a) Isolation, removal and disposal of all redundant services to a licenced waste facility b) Upgrade of the heating centre, boiler, flue, boiler house pipe work, valves and pumps. c) New pressurisation unit and auto fill system d) Upgrade of the heating fuel oil storage tank e) Upgrade of the heating distribution services including new 2 pipe system radiators and associated heating controls to provide individual heating zones for classrooms f) Re-configuration of toilets to remove urinals and replacement of the sanitary ware g) Partial upgrade of the water services to include replacement of the cold water storage tank h) Provision of new domestic hot water services i) Electrical works associated with the upgrade of the heating controls. j) Testing & commissioning of the upgraded mechanical services. k) All builders work and redecoration associated with mechanical upgrade including protection of existing school finishes from damage during the upgrade works. l) Full contract clean of the entire school building prior to handover.
