Upgrade of existing pitched roofs at Templetuohy National School, Templetuohy, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Contractors are invited to tender for the proposed works, which include erecting scaffolding and hoarding to secure the working area as applicable. Careful removal and disposal of existing roof finishes and rain water goods. Repair / strengthening of existing timbers where necessary. Installation of new slate finishes, including new felt membrane, battens and associated flashings. Installation of new fascia and rainwater goods including all connections to existing drainage. Act as PSCS and manage health and safety within the live school environment. Please note that all works are to be carried out in strict adherence with the current Building Regulations and Department of Education & Skills Technical Guidance Documents. It should also be noted that given the nature of the work involved and moreover the lead-in time associated with pertinent materials, the tendering Contractor must satisfy himself/herself that he/she has both the technical capacity and specialist human / schedule resources available to commit to the pertinent scope and meet the handover date for of 24th August 2018
