WCCC 17/430 - Contract 2B of R680 City Center Access Routes - Widening and improvement of Hennessey's Road, Brownes Lane and upgrading of Junction of New Street & Stephen's St

This contract involves works on Hennessy’s Road, Brown’s Lane and the upgrading of the Junction of New Street & Stephen's St as part of the overall Waterford Traffic Management improvement works. Specifically the Contract is proposed to include the following: 1. Demolition of existing boundary walls; 2. Installation of concrete footways and kerbs; 3. Installation of ducting and chambers; 4. Installation of traffic islands and new kerb alignments; 5. Installation of surface water drainage along the route; 6. Installation of utilities and gas mains 7. Construction of embankments; 8. Construction of retaining walls; 8. Pavement works including full depth construction; 9. Installation of traffic signals and associated equipment; 10. Installation of Public Lighting; 11. Landscaping works at back of footpath; 12. Installation of fencing and gates
