Brief for the appointment of ICT Support Provider. Kilkenny LEADER Partnership seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified information and communication technology (ICT) companies, to provide an ICT maintenance contract for all ICT equipment held by KLP, in addition to advice on future needs. This procurement process is a requirement by KLP funders of it as a publically funded organisation to insure that its contractor provide evidence of value for money. The ICT service provider will be responsible for ensuring that KLP’s ICT equipment meets, the needs of the company, and is kept in a high working order. Background Kilkenny LEADER Partnership (KLP) was founded in 2008. KLP now provides a single integrated point of contact to many of the ‘local development’ programmes and initiatives that are available to communities and businesses in the county. KLP is a ‘not for profit’ company and has charitable status. KLP operates a range of programmes – large and small in the county. These services are delivered from its main office in 8 Patricks Court, Patrick St., Kilkenny, Ferrybank outreach Office, Castlecomer outreach office, O’Loughlin Court outreach and others are they may arise. The main servers are located in 8 Patricks Court, with all staff having remote access to the server. The server is further divided to allow different staff, based on need access to different levels of information. The company have up to 8/9 PC’s and 30-35 laptops in operation also. KLP uses the following systems: • Outlook calendar system, • Quick Books Accounts Package • Thesaurus Payroll • Time Management System (TMS) • CRM system for recording actions on RDP projects. • Banking on Line • ROS In addition KLP also need to report to funders using the following government department and state-controlled, owned or led systems: • CRM based systems for TUS programme, • CRM (IRIS) for SICAP programme • CRM based system for LEADER programme.
