6929 - Track Slewing Machine

The Iarnrod Eireann Chief Civil Engineers Department wish to acquire a Track Slewing Machine for lifting of 1600mm gauge track panels, lifting of rails and alignment of curved and straight track to a new design. The 1600mm gauge machine is to be equipped with a Diesel Engine, Hydraulic Transmission, Parking Brake, Pivoting device, and 1no. Operator’s seat. The Machine is to be delivered to Portlaoise Rail and Sleeper Depot, Old Knockmay Road, Portlaoise.
