IPS002F - Request for Information for a Fully Managed Secure Narrowband and Nationwide Digital Radio Network Services

The Office of Government Chief Information Officer (“OGCIO”) with the support and assistance of the Office of Government Procurement (“OGP”) intends to run a competitive procurement process to establish a single-supplier framework agreement for the provision of a Secure Narrowband and Nationwide Digital Radio Managed Service. The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform shall be the contracting authority in any competitive procurement process (the “Contracting Authority”). This process may result in the conclusion of a framework agreement (“Framework Agreement”) that will establish the terms governing contracts that may be awarded to the successful framework provider. Please note: This is not a public procurement competition and we are not seeking tenders at this stage. This is an information gathering exercise only, seeking the views of market operators on possible approaches that may be taken in a tender process which may be undertaken over the coming months. Such information may be used by the Contracting Authority to inform any specifications and procurement documents drafted in any future procurement competition for the provision of a Secure Narrowband Nationwide Managed Digital Radio Service.
