Specification Overview Lot 1 The milling machine will be 3-axis and capable of milling, with high precision, in metals, polymers, and other materials. The machine will primarily be used to prototype microfluidic devices in polymers substrates. It will also be used to machine dies for hot embossing and injection moulding. The milling machine will therefore have a high-speed spindle which has low concentricity and is suitable for precision micro-milling with endmills of diameters below 100 μm. Lot 2 The milling machine will be 3-axis and capable of milling, with high precision, in metals, polymers, and other materials. The machine will primarily be used to in general workshop Tool room setup.
