Project 2017 - Construction of Public Footpath at Waterloo Road

The work involves the construction of a concrete footpath and ancillary works along the hard shoulder of the Waterloo Road. The footpath is approximately 870m in length and varies in width between 1.6m and 0.56m. The scope of the work includes: - Preparation of hard surfaces to accommodate the footpath. - Excavation of ditch and clearing areas to accommodate the footpath. - Reinstate ditch along new line. - Install drainage points from road way to the River Martin and adjacent lands - Construct compacted hardcore base and blinding. - Construct reinforced concrete footpath along the edge of the road. - Erect timber post and rail fence. - Erect steel handrail system fixed to wall and footpath. - Reinstatement of all disturbed structures and surfaces.
