CCC/021/16 - Provision of Web Hosting Services Cork City Council

The ICT and Business Services department provides the Information Technology services for Cork City Council. Included in these functions are the provision of web and online services for the Council. The City Council has a suite of 20 websites, which are integrated into our Web Content Management System (CMS) This CMS is scheduled to be upgraded to version 8.1 in Quarter 1, 2017. The number of council websites varies from time to time. These websites are automatically uploaded by FTP from our CMS to our current website hosting service provider. There have been 2 million sessions with approximately 6 million pageviews to our suite of websites in the last 12 months. The main City Council website also provides a number of ‘online services’ (www.corkcity.ie/onlineservices/) that are hosted by the ICT and Business Services department. ICT will engage the successful Tenderer to provide the services identified in Appendix A of the attached document. This will be on an ‘as needs’ basis and will depend on the council’s requirement for web and system services. *Please download attached RFT for full details and requirements.
