P1344 - Cockhill Bridge Buncrana - Tender for the construction of Cockhill Bridge, Buncrana

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of a new concrete bridge at Cockhill, Buncrana. the scheme will entail the construction of a new single span bridge over the Crana river to accommodate the realigned R238. The bridge will consist of precast beams made composite with a reinforced concrete slab The substructure contains reinforced concrete bankseat abutments, supported on pads and made integral with the deck at the diaphragms. Precast pre-stressed concrete W beams with a reinforced concrete deck slab will form the superstructure.
