EMS003F - Multi Supplier Framework Agreement for the Provision of Irish Language Translation Services
The purpose of this competition is to establish a Multi Supplier Framework Agreement for the Provision of Irish Translation Services with a minimum of nine (9) and a maximum of fifty (50) Framework Members (subject to the quality of tender responses). The Framework will be available for use across the entire public sector. The Framework will be divided into three (3) Lots. In their tender submission tenderers must indicate which Lot or Lots they are tendering for. Tenderers may apply for one or more Lot.

Lot 1 will be comprised of a maximum of five (5) Framework Members (subject to the quantity and quality of tenders received). This Lot will be used by Framework Clients who do not have the resources to manage individual translators and who wish to manage translation assignments through a specialist translation agency who will manage the flow of translation assignments and the individual translators on their behalf.
Lot 2 will be comprised of a maximum of fifteen (15) Framework Members (subject to the quantity and quality of tenders received). This Lot will be used by Framework Clients who wish to access the services of individual translators experienced in high level, high quality specialised translation assignments where the language used will be of a technical nature and may include terminology related, but not limited to, legal, economic, political or medical matters.
Lot 3 will be comprised of a maximum of thirty (30) framework members (subject to the quantity and quality of tenders received). This Lot will be used by Framework Clients who wish to access the services of translators experienced in high level, high quality non-specialised standard translation assignments which may include, but is not limited to, the translation of annual reports, short pieces of general source text, general website content etc.
