GM1533 - Provision of Chaplaincy Services to GMIT

The overall role of the Chaplain is the provision of pastoral care in GMIT Galway – Dublin Road campus, Cluain Mhuire campus and outreach to Letterfrack campus. By its nature, this then encompasses the facilitation of spiritual and general welfare of all the students, irrespective of faith, religious conviction, belief or none of these. Staff of the college are also included in the provision of the Chaplaincy service. The appointee should have the ability to respond to the pastoral needs of students however they may arise.
