GBHI - Refurbishment of 1000sq metres in Lloyd/TCIN building Trinity College

The University of Dublin Trinity College seeks an architect led design team to provide consultancy services for the refurbishment of approx. 1000 square metres of ground floor space in the TCIN/Lloyd building. The refurbishment is to accommodate the Global Brain Health Institute which will take a multi-disciplinary approach to tackle Dementia from two world leading centres in UCSF and TCD The accommodation required will need to house faculty offices for professorial staff, admin and directors offices, research space for postdocs, fellows and scholars, meeting rooms and a telepresence facility. The building needs to identify with the problem of Dementia so it needs to be Dementia friendly in terms of furniture, signage and layout and will incorporate a stimulating meeting room and a contemplative creative room.
