Cashel-Tipp MD-Cleaning Services - Request for Tenders for the Provision of Cleaning Services at Cashel-Tipperary Municipal District Civic Offices,

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Contracting Authority invites tenders from service providers for the provision of Office Cleaning Services at their Tipperary Town offices on Rosanna Road, Tipperary Town, Co. Tipperary. THE CONTRACT: The contract with a single service provider shall be for a period of 18 months commencing on the 2nd. August 2016 (or such other date that may be agreed between the Contracting Authority and the successful tenderer (Service Provider)). The contract will be reviewable every six months and may be extended for a further period of up to 18 months at the discretion of the Contracting Authority. SCOPE OF WORKS: The service provider shall provide a comprehensive cleaning service, in the hours agreed/allocated, throughout the premises as detailed. The cleaning service shall be delivered in a safe and efficient manner. The service provider shall be responsible for maintaining all internal cleanable areas including fixtures, fittings, furniture and finishes, to minimise degradation, enhance asset life cycle and to ensure a high standard and image for the Contracting Authority is maintained. The standard as specified is to be evident at the start of each working day. The service provider shall carry out all tasks normally associated with a professional office cleaning contract, to ensure offices, toilets, staff areas, public areas, public library areas, meeting and conference rooms, Council Chambers and all other work areas, furniture and floor spaces, are maintained to a high level of general cleanliness and remain presentable and fit for their intended purpose. The service provider shall be responsible for monitoring the provision of the services on a daily basis to ensure a high quality service is provided.
