Glen of Imaal Wicklow Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team is a volunteer team formed in 1983 to address a need when 3 serious accidents occurred locally in quick succession. The Team is a branch of the Irish Red Cross (Charity No: CHY3950) and a member team of Mountain Rescue Ireland. Our purpose is to provide a 24-hour x 365 day mountain search and rescue service for the Wicklow & Dublin upland areas.
