Re: The erection of 1 no. Temporary Accommodation Modular building comprising of 1 no. 104.5m2 SEN base, connections to existing site services and all associated site development works to complete the development at Colaiste Naomh Cormac, Park, Kilcormac, Co Offaly.
Dear Sirs,
On behalf of our client, Laois Offaly Education and Training Board, we are pleased to invite you to submit a tender quotation for the provision of the erection of 1 no. Temporary Accommodation Modular building comprising of 1 no. 104.5m2 SEN base, connections to existing site services and all associated site development works to complete the development to complete the development at Colaiste Naomh Cormac, Park, Kilcormac, Co Offaly.
Please note, it is a minimum requirement of the project that the walls of the new modular building have 1-hour fire resistance, tested from both sides inside and out as a proprietary, homogenous entity in itself and duly certified to comply with EN 1365-1 Fire Resistance of Internal & External walls or acceptable equivalent.
The contract for the works will be PW-CF6 Government Short Public Works Contract.
The successful Contractor will have to produce a current Tax Clearance Certificate and appropriate insurance cover as indicated in preliminaries section of the Works Schedule Document prior to signing of a contract.
Contractors must return via the E-tenders platform Tender Box a fully priced Volume C – Works Schedule as well as Volume B -Tender and Schedule and the signed Suitability Assessment Declaration.
Online submissions by 1:00pm on Thursday 13th April 2023.
Contractors are requested to contact school principal (Mr. Kenneth Crann 086-8750235), prior to any visit to the school to arrange a suitable time to view the area for the proposed works .N.B: A Site visit is essential to appraise means of access / craneage for installation of new prefabricated modules. Contractors must return a signed and dated Form of Tender and a signed and dated Suitability Assessment Declaration & fully completed Pricing Schedule to be deemed a valid tender.
It is intended that the successful tenderer will commence the works late June and complete the works by September, if possible, subject to agreement of the contract programme. Contractor to advise architects on timeframe for the installation and completion of the new modular building.
All tender drawings and pricing documents will be uploaded to this RFT and will not be issued in hard copy.
