DAFM would like to engage external expertise to provide an equality, diversity and inclusion engagement software tool for DAFM employees for a minimum of four weeks. This tool should facilitate maximum engagement with staff and generate information and a report to increase our understanding of the ED&I profile of DAFM, grow our ED&I capacity and help promote a culture of inclusion across the organisation. The report should be provided to DAFM after conclusion of the engagement period with staff. It should include key metrics that demonstrate the Department’s organisational position on ED&I and employee engagement and make recommendations for future activity in this area. The initial survey will run in year one with an option to run another full survey in year three. We reserve the right to run interim surveys in years two and four. This tool and report will facilitate the Department in in measuring and monitoring progress in a number of key ED&I areas and enable the Department to fulfil our obligations under the Public Sector Equality and Human Rights Duty (the ‘Duty’). They should enable the Department to progress our ED&I journey and reflect on progress and identify “next steps” in line with the Maturity Model developed in the Our Public Service 2020 Vision Statement.
