Works Consist of the following: -

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS

The following is a summary of the works proposed. Refer to sections of the Mechanical Services Installation for particular specification and the drawings for more specific details. The project consists of the following key elements:-

  • Removal of Existing school space heating & heat emitters
  • Electrical works
  • Associated builders works

All as detailed on relevant drawings.

These works are to begin as soon as appointment is made and approval is granted

Form of Contract 

 The form of Contract will be PW-CF6 – Public Works Short Form of Contract

 Tender Returns

The latest time and date for the return of Tenders is: 12 Noon, Monday 3rd April 2023.

The email address for submission of Tender is via the e – tenders portal.

Tender submissions must be:

Emailed to the email address above, to arrive at the above address no later than the latest time and date stated above. 

All documents must be sent in - pdf format and signed by the Tenderer.

Tenders sent to any other address will be deemed to be invalid tenders. Unsigned or incorrectly signed Forms of Tender will likewise be deemed to be invalid tenders.

Queries

Queries must be submitted via the e-tenders portal.

All queries must be submitted as soon as possible and, in any event, not later than 5 working days before the latest time for receipt of Tender although the Employer may at its discretion respond to queries raised after that date.  If the Employer responds to a query, it will send the response to each Tenderer, unless the Tenderer asking the query has clearly designated the query as confidential and the Employer agrees that it should be treated as confidential.

 

 Tenderers are asked to submit the following as part of their tender submission:

  1. Itemised Pricing Schedule/Tender Breakdown
  2. Form of Tender and Schedule
  3. Contractor Declaration of Suitability

 

Basis of Assessment for Award Criteria

The basis of assessment of the Tenders will be lowest price, meeting in full the specialist/works requirements involved subject to Department Funding. These works are subject to funding been made available from DE.
