University College Dublin or any wholly owned subsidiaries thereof (the “Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this request for tender (“RFT”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for the supply of 10KV Medium Voltage Network Maintenance and Repair Services to University College Dublin (the “Services”).
In summary, the Services comprise:
The provision of general 10KV Medium Voltage (MV) substation (the term substation shall include any MV equipment i.e. main 10KV board and other switching stations with or without power transformers) maintenance in accordance with original manufacturer standards, BS6626 1985 or international equivalent, covering MV switchgear, power transformers, protection devices and all associated trip mechanisms and repair of damaged underground or above ground cabling etc. The services shall also include maintenance of main board incoming LV circuit-breaker, power-factor correction equipment, harmonic filtering equipment, local lighting, emergency lighting and general services within the strict confines of the following UCD 10KV Substations and associated main 400v LV switchboards listed in Appendix 5 UCD 10kV Substations.
This single supplier framework as described below which will result in a contract (“Services Contract”).
The estimated annual value is €80,000. This value is provided for general guidance purposes only and does not represent any commitment by the Contracting Authority to either participate in or spend the estimated value and by submitting a Tender, Tenderers so acknowledge and agree.
Tenderers must be in a position to supply all of the requirements and all the requirements must be priced in Appendix 2 Pricing Schedule.
