Naas Racecourse - Naas Racecourse Redevelopment Project

Naas Racecourse Ltd are inviting submisions from contractors to prequalify, through a Suitability Assessment Questionnaire, in the first stage of the restricted tendering procedure.

The redevelopment to be tendered comprises the demolition of the existing small stand, (2) the binocular hire kiosk, (3) the part-demolition of the self-service restaurant, and (4) the removal of the existing steel roof over the north stand. New works comprise the construction of (5) a new 624 sqm two storey pavilion bar and restaurant with a 532 sqm raised viewing terrace, (6) the change of use and renovation of the remaining 327 sqm of the self-service restaurant for use as offices and drop-in childcare centre, (7) the erection of a new light-weight roof structure over the north stand, (8) the installation of 450 sqm of solar panels on the stable roofs, (9) the construction of a new set-down area for the childcare centre, (10) the installation of an emergency back-up generator, (11) general landscape improvement works, and (12) all necessary site works associated with the above proposals.
