Mayo Refugee Resettlement Projec - Invitation for Expression of Interests from Community based organisations For the delivery of Mayo Refugee Resettlement Project

Mayo County Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from community based organisations to support the delivery of a resettlement programme for Programme Refugees in County Mayo. Applicant organisations must have experience in working in partnership with local service providers in the provision of services to vulnerable communities. The main objective of this initiative is to support recently arrived refugees from Syria who will be resettled to various locations in County Mayo. The group comprise approximately 86 people, over 50% of whom are children. They are coming from United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) camps in Lebanon, having been forced to flee their homes in Syria as a result of conflict.
