DPCC16 - Internal Company Audit

DPCC Ltd wishes to engage the services of a certified auditor to provide independent “root & branch” review of the centre, auditing services in the completion of statutory audits for each of its facilities. The audit is necessary to comply with statutory requirements and to reduce the possibility of a material misstatement whether caused by fraud or error. A clear scope including HR, financial and quality service. The audit should include a basis for improvement and identify efficiencies and more effectiveness in our service CONSULTANCY REQUIREMENTS / KEY TASKS 1. Carry out the various stages of the audit • Planning and risk assessment - Timing before year end & familiarisation of each company • Internal controls and testing - Assess internal control procedures, • Substantive procedures - To collect audit evidence that the management assertions made in the financial statements are reliable and in accordance with required standards and legislation • Review of current salary and benchmarking of salary scales • Finalisation - Compilation of a report to each management committee regarding any important matters that come to the auditor’s attention during the performance of the audit. - To evaluate and review the audit evidence obtained - 2. Presentation of final audit report including findings to the Board of Directors by a set date The proposal, which is subject to change and final negotiation, should include:- • Details of general experience and specific track record, qualifications and credentials of the consultants proposing to undertake the assignment. • Details of previous assignments, commissioned work and name of three nominated clients for reference / follow-up. • Proposed Work Plan, methodology, timeframe and indicative budget. • Names and contact information for three client referees across public sector. • Tax Clearance Certificate BUDGET A LIMITED BUDGET HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE.
