DESCRIPTION OF CONTRACT - SEE BELOW The proposed works are to be undertaken at an abandoned waste management facility in Kerdiffstown, County Kildare. The principal work activities include (but are not limited to) the following: - Demolition of six steel-framed buildings (up to approximately 100m long, 25m wide and 9m in height), fixtures and fittings, and other ancillary structures including storage tanks and silos. The Client will transfer ownership of the demolished steel to the awarded tenderer. - Conduct a full assessment to determine the extent of hazardous waste and non- hazardous waste at the existing waste management facility in accordance with EPA guidelines and relevant legislation. - Removal of approximately 13,000cu.m of non-hazardous domestic and inert waste from existing buildings and transport of this material to an existing lined waste cell at the existing waste management facility.
