In summary the works will comprise of the following: •The demolition and removal of fixed level timber walkways, associated equipment etc. •The collection from Waterways Ireland store, assembly and transportation to site of floating mooring pontoons, access gangways and associated equipment •The installation of floating moorings, to be located in position using circular hollow section steel piles socketed into rock, associated gangways, equipment etc. •Construction of walkway piers extensions alongside the existing slipway founded on H-section piles socketed into road •Various civil, mechanical and landscaping works.
