15-009 Rockfield Upgrade - SAQ Conservation Architect

The HSE are inviting suitably qualified Conservational Architectural practices to prequalify, through a Suitability Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), in the first stage of the restricted procedure for the provision of Architectural Services for the refurbishment of the Rockfield Property, Beaumont Dublin 9. The Architectural Services will include for RIAI Conservation Architectural Consultancy Services (Minimum Grade II) and PSDP Services. The Rockfield Property consists of 3 connected buildings - Beaumont House (Protected Structure), St. Anne's Unit and the Rockfield Unit, on lands to the West of Beaumont Hospital. It is required to refurbish the property for office and administrative use. A Conservation Architect is required to undertake the full architectural scope as part of the refurbishment and upgrade of the Property. The delivery of the refurbishment is planned in 2 phases - Phase 1 - Rockfield Unit - This unit was recently upgraded in 2012 for residential accommodation, but has not been occupied since. The current finishes and fit out are not suitable for office use, and decorative works and minor layout reconfiguration will be required. Phase 2 - Beaumont House (protected structure) and St. Anne's Unit -Both of these buildings are in a state of disrepair, and will require layout reconfiguration and significant repair works. The property currently has no power, gas, heating, fire alarm nor IT connections. The existing plant room and lift will need to be re-commissioned/ upgraded as part of phase 1, in order that the Rockfield Unit can be occupied.
