NUIG/CON351/2015 - Expressions of Interest - Medical Examinations Management Information System

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to ascertain the marketplace for service providers to support a Medical Examinations Management Information system. The current undergraduate Medical Curriculum at the School of Medicine has created a shift from traditional examination methods to patient-based examination with simulated and actual patient contact and diagnosis situations for our students. In order to equip our students with the necessary skills required to work on hospital wards and with patients it was necessary to create these patient-centric Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE’s). To support this process, the School of Medicine requires the following – *Hardware & Software support for up to 10 OSCE examinations per academic year, where each OSCE may have up to 2 cycles of 10 stations each including up to 35,000 to 40,000 electronic transactions per year * Technical support on the day(s) of the OSCE in 6 locations - 4 in Galway & 2 in Sligo * One or more technicians will be available on the day(s) of the exams i.e. interview sessions at the OSCE location(s) * Manned telephone support throughout the year * Monitored email support throughout the year * Planned or Emergency Onsite assistance for all OSCEs Interested candidates must complete the Expression of Interest Form which is available for download from www.etenders.gov.ie. Completed forms must be submitted by email to tenders@nuigalway.ie by 10am, Wednesday, 23rd December 2015.
