The Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Training and Maintenance of a Bench- Top Powder X-Ray Diffractometer for the Crystal Engineering Group at the University of Limerick. Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD) is the golden standard for the identification of bulk crystalline phases. In pharmaceutical and material sciences, this technique is fundamental to the structural characterization of the material and its transformation upon chemical and physical stimuli. The analytical device described herein will support the research on pharmaceuticals and porous materials of the Crystal Engineering group of the University of Limerick.
