WDC Invitation to Tender - Re-development of the MyCreativeEdge.eu website under a creative momentum project

The Western Development Commission (WDC) is seeking a contractor to re- develop the MyCreativeEdge.eu website. The website is branded ‘MyCreativeEdge: The Creative Showcase for Europe’s Northern Edge’. Enterprises and freelancers working in the creative industries sector and based in regions across Europe’s Northern Edge can create free online profiles to showcase their work. The site was launched in June 2013 and has over 570 profiles. The re-development is funded through a creative momentum project, a transnational project co-funded by the Northern Periphery & Arctic Programme. The objectives of the re-development are to: a) Improve MyCreativeEdge.eu’s effectiveness as a showcase for creatives based in the five regions covered by a creative momentum project, by enhancing the user experience for site visitors. b) Increase the site’s role as a facilitator of networking among members, both within and across regions, including greater integration with social media. c) Strengthen the site’s role as a source of information for members, and also for site visitors. d) Facilitate the delivery of other activities to be implemented by a creative momentum project. The duration of this contract is 27 months (most work to be completed within the first six months). The estimated value is €33,000 exclusive of VAT.
