Con/0057/2015 - Army Equitation School McKee Barracks - Re Surfacing

The Arena to be resurfaced is approximately 4,500m2 in area. The work consists of the removal of an existing proprietary surfacing material composed of sand, pvc fibre reinforcement and wax; grubbing up and removal of a permeable bitumen macadam underlay and a layer of stone below it; disposal off site of the material removed; pressure jetting of the drainage system; levelling of the remaining stone base, providing new stone and geotextile membranes and laying a new jumping surface consisting of a patented sand based mix; ancillary work to the perimeter of the arena and making good of any work disturbed.
