15.13 - Supply, installation and commissioning of a dental intra-oral scanning and CAD/CAM system
The Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) invites tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the supply, installation and commissioning of a dental intra-oral scanning and CAD/CAM system. This will be used in a clinical environment and also for undergraduate dental education to introduce students to digital workflow dentistry.
Tenders must be completed in compliance with this Invitation to Tender and the tender documents enclosed. All information relating to this invitation to tender, including tender documentation, clarification and changes will be published on the etenders. Last date for receipt of invitation to tender questions is 12 noon 14 October 2015.
The current target is to have the contract in place by December 2015.
Phase one is composed of suppliers making submissions based on this tender documentation. The supplier is required to respond to each and every stated requirement identifying how their system meets the requirement including a brief description as to how this will be achieved.
In assessing the suitability of suppliers in Phase 1 the most economically advantageous tender will be chosen based on the following criteria for short-listing:
1. Price - 60%
2. Warranty and software updates - 20%
3. Meeting DDUH requirements - 10%
4. Quality Assurance Protocol - 10%
Phase two will involve the DDUH short listing five suppliers for progression to further evaluation.
