Arboricultural Services

Arboricultural Service Contract This contract is for the provision of services to undertake duties which may include: • Prepare Arboricultural tree surveys in compliance with British Standard (BS 5837:2012) or best practice in relation to design, demolition and construction. • Prepare Arboricultural Tree Protection Plans for the Grangegorman Campus • Prepare tree surgery work plans, supervisions and audits as necessary • Prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments to outline the Implications of proposed development for the Grangegorman Campus tree population and landscape • Prepare individual or group tree health and condition surveys • Review and provide recommendations for contractors work proposals/method statements and design as requested • Provide consultancy services for legal and Insurance issues. This may include expert witness services. • Provide Professional Representation on behalf of the Grangegorman Development Agency to Local Authorities, stakeholders, design teams and other groups as necessary. • Prepare Professional Arborist Reports that document the condition of trees, note issues, damage or areas of concern, and provides information about the cause and issues including site conditions, pest or disease threats, or mechanical injury. Recommendations actions should be noted, which may include site remediation, increasing vigour through fertilization or injections, pest control, air spading to examine and treat root issues, or pruning and removal if needed. Reports to be prepared by professionals in Arboriculture, who have extensive experience with tree assessment. • Prepare recommendation and programme for monitoring the tree population and planting throughout the Grangegorman campus. Advice on planting and maintenance.
