Instructions to Tenderers - Supplementary RFT

 

 

 

Dear Supplier,

The Education Procurement Service (“EPS”) is the Sourcing Authority for the Open-competition currently being run for Laboratory Equipment for the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. The EPS hereby invites you to enter this Open Competition for the supply of goods/services to Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.

 

The Open-competition relates to the supply of high-spec Laboratory Equipment. These requirements as described in the technical specifications in Appendix 1 of the RFT document.  This Open-competition is being run off for one-off purchases. 

 

To enter this competition, you must complete and return your submissions to the Post-box on eTenders, in compliance with the RFT.

Tender submissions will be evaluated based on the award criteria set out in the RFT accompanying this document.

 

The deadline for the receipt of your submission is 2.00 p.m. on Friday, 4th September 2015. As per the terms and conditions of the RFT, only tender submissions received through eTenders will be accepted. Your submission should contain the project code and the name of your company in the subject line.  

 

Failure to meet the deadline specified will result in your elimination from the competition.

 

Submission of a bid by a supplier will be deemed acceptance of all terms and conditions described in the RFT.

 

As set out in the RFT, the following documents will be required prior to and will be a condition of any award of a contract pursuant to this open competition: evidence of a current Tax Clearance Certificate and confirmation that the relevant insurances are in place (as per the RFT).

 

The award of any contract is also subject to product meeting the required standards as set out in the RFT. Should the required standards not be met, the EPS reserves the right, in consultation with the Technical Evaluation Group, to award any contract to the next highest-ranked Tenderer.

 

No commitment of any kind, contractual or otherwise, will exist unless and until a formal written contract has been executed with the Contracting Authority. The Education Procurement Service reserves the right to cancel this public procurement competition at any time prior to formal written contracts being executed.
