150717 UCC LLZ Folding Partition - Design, Supply and Install Manual Folding Partitions for proposed Library Learning Zone

A. The project is located in the Boole Library, College Road, University College Cork. It involves the design, provision and installation of 2 no. Movable Folding Partitions in the proposed new Learning Zone in G.18 Ground Floor (Q Level) of the Boole Library. B. The contracting authority for the project is University College Cork. C. Liaison for all aspects of the project during tender stage shall be directed via Michael O’Sullivan, Architectural Draughtsperson, Buildings & Estates Office UCC. D. The manual folding partitions comprises of 2 similar folding partitions with acoustic rating of not less than Rw 50db. One partition will be fixed to the existing structure the other partition will be fixed to the new structure (structure installed by others). There will be a door in one of the partitions with all associated handles, hinges and locking mechanisms.
