2015 Ecological Survey & Ecological Impact Assessment - Grand Canal within Co. Kildare / Dublin

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Waterways Ireland is the North/South Implementation Body for the inland navigable waterway systems of Ireland and was established under the British-Irish Agreement, 1999. The statutory remit of Waterways Ireland is to manage, maintain, develop and restore the inland navigable waterways, principally for recreational purposes.

In line with the above remit,  Waterways Ireland is looking to enhance their knowledge of the ecology along the inland navigable waterways, especially along the Grand Canal within the counties of Kildare and Dublin. This survey will be used to update records of ecology, based on the original OPW reports from the early 1990s and be used to inform maintenance and capital projects, as appropriate.

Completed tenders must be returned through etenders.gov.ie by the closing date of 16:00 on Friday 24th of July 2015

Kind regards,
