Quantity Surveying - See suitibility assessment questionnaire ("SAQ")

Dear Sirs

 

Thank you for expressing an interest in the above competition.

 

I have attached the pre-qualification rules that apply to this selection process, and three colour coded suitability assessment questionnaires (“SAQ”):

 

a)      SAQ for Single Corporate Entities          (red booklet)

 

b)     SAQ for Partnerships                                 (brown booklet)

 

c)      SAQ for Consortium/ Joint Ventures      (blue booklet)

 

Only one of the above SAQ will have to be completed by you.  In that regard, you must decide what corporate status best applies to you and depending on whether you are a ‘Single Corporate Entity’, ‘Partnership’ or ‘Consortium/ Joint Ventures’, you must complete the appropriate SAQ. 

 

For the avoidance of any doubt, by ‘Partnership’ I mean that you have entered into a formal partnership agreement.  If you have merely partnered with other entities, then this would not constitute a ‘partnership’, but will more than likely be an unincorporated consortium and/or joint venture.

 

The SAQ are provided to you in PDF format.  The word format is not available. 

 

To complete the applicable SAQ you should use the editing tools in Adobe Reader. Some parts of the SAQ must be signed, and required evidence must be physically added to the hard copy in the allocated space.

 

When you open the SAQ in Adobe Reader you can select the icon on the top panel, found beneath the “view” tab – this icon reads “sign, add text or send a document for signature”.  By selecting this option you can fill out the form on Abode Reader.  Once the form is filled in you can save it as you save a word document. 

 

When you are satisfied that you have fully completed the SAQ, please print the document and ensure you have signed and executed the hard copy where required.  Please also ensure that you have added the requested evidence where required as the Evaluation Team can only assess what you have submitted.

 

Once you have done all this, please scan the whole SAQ to a USB key and forward this USB together with a duly executed hard copy including all required evidence to me as outlined in the attached pre-qualification rules.  I draw your special attention that your submission must be done in a sealed envelope that does not contain any reference to the Candidate, is marked with the correct label and is returned to me by 3 pm local time on or before, Monday 13 July 2015.
