CCE5623 - Supply and delivery of switch panels for clamplock operated points

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process for the proposed tender for the supply and delivery of 2 complete switch panels for clamplock operated points. Scope of supply includes steelwork, timbers and backdrives to the below specification. The actual clamplock machines are not required. 607A - EV Switch panel, contraflex outside 1562m mainline centreline radius 607B - EV Switch Panel, simiflex inside 1489m mainline centreline radius Sketch is attached. • A proposal drawing will be required prior to assembly and an as built drawing will be required prior to delivery. • Switch panels must be preassembled prior to delivery • Rails should be marked clearly with point end number and radius. • The provision of timber lathing is required for each layout for setting out purposes on site. Such lathing is to show marks which line up with similar marks on each adjacent bearer. Marks will be required on all rails to line up with the centre of the plates or, where plates are to be removed with the rail on dismantling, the outline of the plate is to be marked on the timber. • A copy of the delivery inventory should be forwarded in advance of despatch of the items to allow the proposed delivery items to be checked against the actual order. This delivery inventory should include a schedule of weights for all items to be shipped. All delivery paperwork should be in the English language. Switch panels must be supplied new, complete with all timbers, blocks, baseplates and fixings (including those shown under “dashed rail”) as per REPW 600G, except that gauge will be 1597mm.
