Background
Cork Education and Training Board is a leading education provider in Cork City and County. It has responsibility for a large range of education and training in Cork, including Primary, Post-Primary, Further Education, Training, Adult and Community Education and Literacy and Numeracy.
Tender Details and Specifications
At this time, we are inviting tenders for the supply of school and classroom furniture for our new Post Primary School at Coláiste Pobail Naomh Mhuire, Buttevant, Co. Cork. The Coláiste currently has a student enrolment of just under 300 students. This school has a long standing tradition of providing quality education and care for the young people of Buttevant and the surrounding communities. It is presently located on beautiful convent grounds but will move into a state of the art new school campus in the autumn of 2015.
Full details of Department of Education and Skills specifications and requirements for each item on the Tender document are available on the attached document. All items must meet the required standards and specifications as detailed on this document.
All furniture/equipment complies with The Code of Practice for Fire Safety of Furnishing and Fittings in Places of Assembly – Department of the Environment, 1989.
The Tender is divided into the following Lots.

Ø Lot 2: Teacher, Staffroom and Office Furniture
Ø Lot 3: Whiteboards and Pin boards
Ø Lot 4: Storage Presses/Lockers/Filing Cabinets
Ø Lot 5: Miscellaneous Items
Ø Lot 6: Science Tray Storage System
Ø Lot 7: Library Shelving/Book Trolley
Ø Lot 8: Canteen Furniture
Ø Lot 9: Stage System
Please note that Cork ETB reserves the right to break down the Lots.
