2015 - 5 - ICT Hardware Upgrade & Service Support Contract

Coillte Panel Products have plans to refresh the virtual server infrastructure in Medite Europe Ltd, based in Clonmel and Smartply Europe Ltd based in Waterford. Therefore Coillte Panel Products are seeks expressions of interest from suitable qualified companies to be shortlisted to participant in the tender process. Along with the hardware refresh, it is planned to upgrade the underlying Microsoft server platforms to Server 2012 on both sites and the domain level from 2003 to 2012 in Medite and from 2008 to 2012 in SmartPly. It is also the intended to consolidate both existing Domains into one single Domain. Existing hardware on both sites is to be redeployed as a local DR platform. Identical DR processes to be established and implemented across both sites. With a dual site location the hardware on each site should complement the other and bring with it additional features with increased resiliency. There should be an improved and cohesive end user experience across the two sites and also their sales offices in Dartford (UK) and Roermond (The Netherlands). The hardware should be scalable to accommodate changes in Coillte Panel Products business requirements, and needs to be sized to cater for the next 3-5 years. Coilte Panel Products will also be looking at agreeing a service support contract with one or more the suitably qualified companies as part of the overall scope of requirements.
