Award Criteria Assessment

 

8.1 The award criterion for this process is the Most Economically Advantageous Tender with a Quality to Price ratio of 70% / 30%. Candidates are asked to prepare and submit a response for each of the published Quality Criteria.

 

8.2 Quality Criteria - Tenders will be evaluated in the award process by reference to the criteria below.

 

(a) Understanding of Design Services Brief

 

Galway County Council will make a single appointment to a suitably qualified firm of Interpretive / Exhibition design consultants to provide and co-ordinate full Interpretive / Exhibition Design, Project Management (to include Employer’s Representative and Assigned Certifier) and Project Supervisor Design Process consultancy services as well as required Specialist Skills services namely Civil & Structural Design, Industrial/Product Design, Building Services Design and Quantity Surveying services.

 

 Candidates are asked to prepare a management summary (maximum 2 pages) to demonstrate a clear understanding of the

 

 

full design services required

Candidates are also asked to give a detailed work breakdown structure and anticipated project programme

 

with all design services tasks required to deliver the full scope of services through the project stages.
