This project involves the demolition and site clearance of buildings at Block D and the internal demolition of walls, removal of the ground floor slab and minor roof repairs at Bay 130, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, Co. Clare. The site is in the SFZ West Industrial Park, located adjacent to Shannon Airport. Block D comprises of 6 no. adjacent industrial units, 1-6, with a total floor area of 9,415m2 approx. Bay 130 is a standalone light industrial unit with a total area of 1800m² approx. Buildings were previously used for a variety of industrial/commercial purposes and are now vacant/disused. The works involve the demolition and removal of Reinforced Concrete Structural Frames, Structural Steel Frames, Blockwork Walls, Reinforced Concrete Stairwells, Reinforced Concrete Foundations, Structural Steel Roof Trusses, Mechanical and Electrical Building Components, and Asbestos Removal.
