Swilly Ferry Service 2015 - Donegal County Council (the Council) invites applications for a licence to use Donegal County Council infrastructure at Rathmullan and Buncrana harbours for the provision of a ferry service

Section 1 – Introduction. Donegal County Council (the Council) invites applications for a licence to use Donegal County Council infrastructure at Rathmullan and Buncrana harbours respectively for the provision of a ferry service between both locations. The contract on offer will be for an initial one season period with the option to extend the contract on a year by year basis to a maximum of five years based on a review after each year, a budget being available and agreement being reached between both parties. Interested service providers are asked to indicate the level of service they are willing to provide for a subvention of €20,000 from Donegal County Council: Type: Vehicle / Passenger Ferry. Period: Donegal County Council preferred operating period: July-August (preferred sailing time[s] late evening, particularly at the week-ends). Every effort has been made to ensure that all the information required to submit an application is contained in this documentation. Responses to such queries will be forwarded by email to all those to whom a copy of this document has been sent. The deadline for the receipt of completed applications is 12 Noon on Monday 8th June 2015. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
