Provision of WAN Links to Shannon Airport

The current contract provides two WAN links in a redundant format to Shannon Airport, with automatic failover from the primary to the secondary in the event of issues on the primary link. The current primary WAN links is a 40mbps fibre link, while the secondary backup links is a 20 mbps radio link. It is proposed to go to market to replace this existing service with a new service providing increased bandwidth on both the primary and secondary links – while also ensuring a cost effective solution.
