Ref 007 - Prequalification Questionnaire for Thermal Oil Design, Supply and Installation Services at SmartPly Europe Ltd

SmartPly are now implementing a major capital investment in new Plant and Equipment to modernise their OSB facility. The construction phase of this project is expected to be completed in December 2015. A key component of the project is the replacement of the existing Washington Ironworks Multi-daylight press with a Siempelkamp Continuous Press. It is proposed that the existing Thermal Oil System which delivers heat energy to the Washington Ironworks Multi-daylight press will be modified as required to deliver heat energy to the Siempelkamp Continuous Press. These modifications include the requirement of the system to operate at a higher temperature than it does currently. The entire scope of works contained within this document is divided into 3 Lots; o Lot 1 – Overall Co-ordination, Design and Project Documentation. o Lot 2 - Mechanical Supply and Installation o Lot 3 - Electrical Control & Automation Supply and Installation SmartPly invites expressions of interest from candidates who can either provide the scope of works contained within Lot 1 or provide the scope of works contained within Lot 1, 2 and 3. This notice is a voluntary publication from an Industrial Subsidiary of Public Authority therefore the EU Directive time-lines do not apply. Smartply will not be responsible for any costs in connection with the procurement procedure, irrespective of the outcome, whether or not the procedure is cancelled or postponed. Candidates are required to download the PQQ word document from the e-tenders website and return 3 hard copies of their Submissions and tender schedule by 15.00 hours on the 17th of April 2015.
