SET 5480 - Refurbishment of Impedance Bonds

Iarnrod Eireann will shortly be seeking tenders from suitable service providers to carry out the refurbishment of approximately 10 impedance bonds per year. It is intended to establish a three year contract for these services. Each bond contains two coils plus formers encased in petrolatum. The coil arrangement is encased in a wrought iron case, the total weight of which is 280kg. The successful service provider will be required to collect the bond/s from Pearse Station, Dublin 2, carry out the refurbishment and return the bond/s to Pearse Station within a six (6) week turnaround. Interested candidates are required to answer the questions set out in this notice and to provide details of at least three (3) relevant projects recently completed by the applicant, which demonstrate the applicant's ability to provide the services required by IE.
