Design & Repair of Tank to Bund Interface at Shannon Airport Tank Farm

Shannon Airport Authority owns and operates a 35,000 tonne tankfarm located on the Airport’s grounds. A new concrete bund was installed in 2010/2011 to provide for an impermeable secondary containment area around the ten vertical storage tanks. However, after completion of the works, the interface between the new concrete bund and the base of the tanks was found to be inadequate. SAA invites suitably qualified contractors to submit an application to be selected to receive an invitation to tender for the design and repair of the tank-to-bund interface.
