WCCC/R/097 - Dungarvan Town Centre Improvement Works 2015

Waterford City & County Council (WCCC) is seeking to engage a Works Contactor and PSCS to undertake the improvement works to the town centre street network in Dungarvan as part of the Go Dungarvan Smarter Travel Demonstration Town project. The works include upgrade to the public realm across a number of streets and the town centre square and will be comprised of traffic calming measures, dedicated cycle lanes, designated pedestrian walkways, hardscaping, seating, street furniture, specialist lighting and architectural elements. The scope of the work will include public realm upgrade to the roundabout at the intersection of Davitt's Quay / Devonshire Bridge, T.F. Meagher Street, Grattan Square, O'Connell Street, Main Street, St. Mary's Street, Mitchell Street and the roundabout at the intersection of Mitchell Street and the Youghal Road. The overall area of the works is circa 8,600 sq m. The works will be carried out on a phased basis with sectional completions to allow accessibility of the town centre street network during the Works.
