• Navan Centre & Fort located at 81 Killylea Road, Armagh BT60 4LD. Supply and installation of an archaeology play area of both an interior (within an existing activity space) and exterior nature (to an external area immediately beyond the activity space). The archaeology play items will be site specific to the Navan Fort and to the history of the surrounding area. The equipment must be suitable for all ages and abilities. The interior should not require staff involvement but the exterior area will be designed to accommodate a role playing archaeologist/ character. All elements will be interactive, with some adaptation / extension of existing services required. Items to be used within the interactive areas will be both ‘bespoke’ and ‘off the shelf’. This may, for example, include an element of contractor design in the supply, erection and decoration of the interactive module. Works budget £166,000 • Visitor information Centre/ Craftswirl located at 40 English Street, Armagh BT61 7BA Development of the interior of the centre, to accommodate literature display within the guidelines of the NITB; for craft display and, the provision of a dedicated visitor information section on the immediate area of Armagh. This may also include the creation of an online browsing area, which will require the supply and installation of the electronic equipment, in addition to requiring an element of contractor design in the erection of the partitions and backgrounds.
