14-151 & 14-152 - Fingal County Council - Scheme Painting & External Maintenance (2 no. contracts)

The works consist of scheme painting and external maintenance in two batches: Batch I (14-151) & Batch J (14-152). Contractors may tender for one or both batches. Tenders are sought from competent contractors with experience in similar maintenance, repair and painting projects. Tenderers are required to meet the criteria as set out in an open procedure questionnaire. This questionnaire will be used to ascertain that the applicant meets the minimum economic and technical standards required to carry out the works in the specified time. Failure to meet the minimum criteria outlined will result in their tender not being considered. For tenders to be considered, tenderers must demonstrate that they specialise in painting work with ancillary expertise and experience in joinery, roof and glazing repair. They must also show successful completion of a similar type domestic cyclical maintenance project to a similar scale, quality, complexity and time frame within the last five years as part of their, or a subsidiary, core business.They must demonstrate management and resource availability in order to meet the required programme of works.It is a condition for the award of the contract that the successful tenderer demonstrates promptly tax compliance with The Revenue Commissioners. Tenderers must be registered, provide satisfactory evidence of ability to meet insurance and bond requirements, and be members of an approved Pension Scheme. The successful tenderers will be required to enter into a formal contract. The tenderer shall prove his ability to comply with all Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Acts and Regulations current at the date of tender. Should a provider not satisfy the Council as to their competence and compliance in Health and Safety their tender may be rejected. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Fingal County Council is subject to the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 as amended by the 2003 Act
